Dr. Jaqueline Rhoden-Trader, Dr. Sharon Jones-Eversley and I are book contributors for the soon-to-be-released Temple University Press publication, “Taking Stock of Homicide: Trends, Emerging Themes, and Challenges”. In our scholarly chapter “Examining Homicide Through the Spatial, Criminological, Social, and Legal Lenses of Epidemiology” we provide a scholarly perspective on the issue with an emphasis on Baltimore City. The publisher describes the work as follows:
“Taking Stock of Homicide provides a critical look at homicide, offering a comprehensive review of the major areas of homicide research, including topics largely unexplored in the literature, such as qualitative and historical accounts”.
