I recently joined Attorney Michael Ayalla on Legal View for an important conversation about the Karmelo Anthony case and the broader issues of youth violence, decision-making, and the influences shaping young people today.

As a criminologist and public health advocate, I discussed why we must look beyond individual acts of violence and consider the role of family, peers, social media, community environments, and other influences on adolescent behavior. We also explored what parents, educators, and communities can do to help young people navigate conflict and make healthier decisions.
